Why soy wax?

Paraffin is a petroleum product. It burns hot, leaves soot and releases substances into the room that you don’t want to breathe in.

Soy wax is different — it is made from soybean oil, burns slowly and evenly, and doesn’t pollute the air in the room.

• Longer burn — soy wax burns around 30–50% more slowly than paraffin.
• More even scent — the oils are released gradually instead of burning off all at once.
• Cleaner surfaces — no black marks on walls, glass or furniture.

In a home with children or pets this isn’t just about looks. A clean burn makes a real difference.

The wooden wick — a detail you can hear

Most candles have a cotton wick. Ours are wooden.

A wooden wick burns with a quiet, steady crackle, like a fireplace in miniature. It isn’t loud or intrusive — it is simply there, adding sound to the light and scent and making the room feel fuller.

Technically, a wooden wick burns steadily, without leaning or drowning in the melted wax.

The scents

We work with high-quality fragrance oils chosen to suit the character of each candle. We don’t use synthetic air fresheners.

A scent should be balanced — not hitting you as you walk in, but pleasant when you sit down and relax.

Collections for different occasions and moods

• Christmas candles — warm, spicy scents such as cinnamon, vanilla and pine, in decorative shapes for the festive table or as a gift.
• Valentine’s Day candles — sensual, floral and oriental notes for a romantic evening.
• Decorative candles — roses, hearts, Christmas trees, fruit and other shapes that work as décor and scent at once.

If you can’t find exactly what you are looking for, candles can be made to order: scent, shape and packaging.

Handmade — what it means in practice

“Handmade” is a phrase that has been worn thin. So we’ll be specific.

For us it means every candle is poured individually into small moulds, not on a production line. The wax is heated to the right temperature, the fragrance oil is added by hand in the right ratio, and the wick is centred before pouring and checked once the candle has cooled.

The surface is inspected — we look for cracks, unevenness and an uneven burn in testing.

That is exactly why we work in small batches. It isn’t marketing — we simply couldn’t control quality at a larger volume without compromise.
